Urban Programs

We offer the following services to homeowners and developers: 

  • Providing expertise in urban runoff control and prevention methods particularly during development and construction

  • Assisting with community recycling programs

  • Providing technical assistance with storm water management programs

  • Participating in land use decisions to protect prime farmland

 

 

Responsible Land Disturbing (RLD) Program Information

The Responsible Land Disturber Certificate of Competence Program was established as a component of the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Program by revisions to the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Law (Title 10.1, Chapter 5, Article 4 of the Code of Virginia).
